Peter Wilson: A good evenings tennis. Dave and Nicholas got off to a good start against Steve and Stuart and went 3-0 up. But Steve and Stuart found ther form and won the set 6-4. the second set went more on serve with Steve and Stuart winning 6-3. Simon and Alex faught hard in their match with a strong Damian and Kevin and managed to pic up some valuable points. At the halfway stage Mannamead where happy as thet secured the 7pts they needed to finish the season in 3rd place. In the second round of matches Alex and Simon played well but Stuart and Simon were too consistent and picked up the points to win the match. Dave and Nick put in a good first set performance almost taking it to a tiebreak but it wasn't to be. A strong Damian and Kevin then took the second set 6-0. Well done Devonshire on winning the league.
