  • Hilary Picton: A very hard-fought match, closer than the score suggests. Nona and Kirsty were very tricky opponents, Hilary P and Ruth struggled at first against them before getting the upper hand in the second set. Unfortunately both Ruth and Hilary made too many mistakes in the tie-break. Lucy and Hilary B couldn't get to grips with them at all. Tam and Sarah played more conventional tennis and both their rubbers were close but Menheniot came out on top.
