Hilary Picton: Another incredibly close match! Wendy Mason playing in her first league match with Gin was very nervous in the first rubber which Tavi's second pair of Liz and Lindsey won comfortably. In their second rubber Wendy gained in confidence and fought back in the second set taking a 4-1 lead but Tavi's Catherine and Gemma came back to take it on the tie-break. Devonshire's first pair of Kelly and Gemma were very strong and although both Tavi's pairs played well they were no match.
